The breakfast was excellent. However, as I hadnt paid for it in advance, when I tried to pay on leaving, the staff seemed confused about how to handle. They were very easy to work with and I thoroughly enjoyed the stay.

It was lovely to stay in such an old building, well preserved. The hotel was well placed for the railway station.

it’s very nice and charming hotel excellent location for me near my son house clean .The employees were very helpful with me specially Naomi and Sandra from the front desk and I appreciate theme very much

Although the "medieval knights" theme was a bit over the top, the hotel provided everything we needed in the way of clean and comfortable beds for the night. Location near the railway station was good (we had an early train to catch in the morning), and it was an easy walk to the historic centre of Ponferrada.

Everything was perfect, super comfortable bed, clean, quiet, cool looking medieval hotel. Really good location too. No complaints at all.

Authentic however care should be taken to create a coherent and consistent theme across all elements and features of the hotel including the rooms.

I booked a twin bed but ended up with a queen bed in a large room. It was a very good sized room compared to the other hotels I’ve stayed in Spain. The bathroom is large, modern, updated, and has a tub.
